Applying

The application takes about ten minutes. You will need the contact details for your current landlord, your employment details if you have a job, and at least one reference. If someone is guaranteeing your rent, which is usual for students, you will need their contact details, address, and income too. Uploading photo ID or proof of income is optional but helps us decide faster. You will also confirm your identity with a photo of a government ID and a short selfie, which takes about two minutes.

We assess every application on rental history, references, and ability to pay the rent. We do not ask for, and will not consider, anything protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code — so there is no question here about your age, your family, or where you are from.
